Join the Redefining Freedom Center as We March Toward America 250

Tomorrow, July 4, 2025 begins a once-in-a-generation movement. One that invites you—the people—to rise up in defense of freedom, not just as a birthright, but as a responsibility.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of America’s founding on July 4, 2026, the Redefining Freedom Center is proud to launch our 2025–2026 Capital Campaign to raise essential funds that will:

• Defend freedom against rising authoritarianism, censorship, and political extremism.

• Restore faith in our democratic institutions and civil liberties.

• Reimagine freedom for all Americans in the 21st century—more inclusive, more just, and more united.

We are calling on patriots, progressives, independents, moderates—everyone who believes in the promise of “We the People”—to support this work.

Every dollar raised will go toward civic education, democracy defense programs, leadership development for women and youth, public events, and critical policy research.

We are asking you to:

🏛 Launching the 2025–2026 "What Freedom Means to Me" Student Challenge

This fall, we will invite high school and college students across the Commonwealth of Virginia to submit essays, videos, or artwork reflecting on the question:

“What does freedom mean to me in today’s America?”

Finalists will be honored at a statewide event in spring 2026—and their work will help shape our Redefining Freedom vision for the next generation.
